Recognizing Christ is ALIVE today in us and with us.....looking for HIM and how HE moves and lives in our lives.
The Middle East Task Force of Foothills Presbytery is planning a seven week study: An Introduction to Holy Land Issues, and the Witness of Palestinian Christians. The dates and topics are: January 9 - It's Our Land!; January 23 - A Brief Modern View of Palestine and Israel; January 30 - What is it Like to Live in Occupied Territory?; February 13 - The Big Picture: Politics and Conflict; February 27 - A Word of Faith, Hope, and Love; March 12 - The Reality on the Ground; and March 26 - What Does the Lord Require of Us? All of these studies will take place 9:30-10:30 at the presbytery office. If you would like to participate in this Middle East Study, please call the presbytery office at 288-5774 to sign up or email ssharpe@foothillspresbytery.org or lwhite@foothillspresbytery.org.
The Middle East is in the news each day, but sometimes it is difficult to keep up with developments in the area. This is a very condensed study of a very complicated problem, but our hope is that it will give people a theological, historical and social framework of the issues from the perspective of the Middle East Task Force.
